Little Flyers Beat Team Israel In Shootout

The game is part of Team Irael's six-game tour of North America. Other stops were Miami, New York, Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto.

The game was played at the University of Pennsylvania's Class of 1923 Arena.

Team Irael held the lead for almost the whole contest on a goal by Michael Horowitz early in the first period.

The Little Flyers West Bauman tied the game in the third, 1-1, and that is the way it stayed until the shootout.

Team Irael's Shon Norman and the Flyers Rocco Carzo opened the shootout.

Goalies Eden Nemenoff and the Flyers Jim Murray had superb games.

Bauman had the last shot of the night and dropped it into the net for the shootout winner.
