HOCKEY WEEK IN PHILADELPHIA JAN. 25-31, 2010
Stanley Cup winning goal scorer, Bob Kelly set another record on Jan. 28, 2010 when he addressed 1100 Groveland Elementary School in Doylestown, Pa. It was part of Hockey Week in Philadelphia.
The previous record for the Philadelphia Flyers school assembly program was 1050.
Principal Dave Heineman, Asst. principal Karl Fuinseth and counselor Brittany Lukens helped Flyers' community relations coordinator Jason Tempesta on setting up the session.
Flyers community interns-Natalie Dickerman and Sam Wood assisted Kelly and Tempesta.
