Harvey Turns 85

STILL GOING STRONG - HARVEY TURNS 85 YEARS

Harvey Pollack, who began his career in basketball and later hockey, celebrated his 85th birthday on Mar. 10 at the Wachovia Center and Spectrum.

Harvey, the 76ers statistician, has been in the NBA since its first year of operation in 1946. He has been a part of Philadelphia basketball ever since. He also was the PR man for the Philadelphia Ramblers in the mid-1950s and 1960s.
