Chris Therien Hosted Flyers/Phantoms Festival at Northeast Skate Zone

Over 300 children from eight different Philadelphia Department of Recreation Summer Camps took part of the outdoor Flyers-Phantoms Festival activities with Flyers defenseman Chris Therien on Aug. 11 in 94° weather.

The fun included Hooked On Hockey clinics, carnival games, inflatables, dunk tank, slide, water balloon toss and hockey puck bowling.

In addition, each child received a Mylec street hockey stick.

Radio Disney was on sight playing music throughout the morning and afternoon and Phantoms mascot Phlex also was on hand taking charge of the fun.

The 76ers, Skate Zone, Pepsi and Carnival Fun all took part in the festivities.
