Wednesday, March 16, 2016

MARLTON, N.J. (WPVI) --

Former Flyers player Gary Dornhoefer took the oath of citizenship Wednesday in Marlton, New Jersey.

The 73 year old was among dozens of people, officially becoming American citizens.

The oath took place at Marlton Elementary, where students are studying immigration.

Dornhoefer is a native Canadian, but calls New Jersey home.

He won two Stanley Cups with the Flyers in the 70's, and later was a broadcaster alongside Gene Hart.
