Minnesota's St. Mary's Hockey Team


The school-Shattuck-St. Mary's-- in Minnesota is located in the heart of the state. They have been playing hockey since 1925 and in 1968 the school had its first indoor rink.

In 1990, the school began a new phase of hockey, scouting players.

The Philadelphia area has been scouted by St. Mary's . They now have five Delaware Valley area students on the teams.

The Philly students are: freshman forward Cody Marooney,Exton, Pa.; sophomore goalie Justin Farrell, Williamstown, NJ; freshman forward Jimmy Mullin, Blackwood, NJ; freshman defenseman Dominic Racobaldo and freshman Julian Ciocco, Atco, NJ.

The prep school has won three National Championships-2001, 2003 and 2005.

In the 2005 and 2006 seasons, the Girls prep team capped it season with back to back Tier I U19 National Championships.





Philadelphia area members of the Shattuck-St. Mary's high school hockey teams from Minnesota were home for the Christmas holidays. They were able to take in a Flyers game at the Wachovia Center.
