Cincinnati Reds manager Sparky Anderson and Flyers Ambassador Joe Kadlec met years after sharing 1975 championships against Boston and Buffalo.
MLB Commissioner Bud Selig said Anderson was "a gentleman, a great baseball man and a superb ambassador for the game. Anderson won the World Series against the Red Sox in seven games and the Flyers won the Stanley Cup against the Buffalo Sabres in six games.
