Another Philly Champion

ANOTHER PHILADELPHIA HOCKEY
TEAM AMONG USA HOCKEY ELITE

The Lady Quakers, a 14 and under age hockey team, have done Philadelphia hockey proud again.

Coach Brian Cleary’s squad captured the Atlantic District Championship by defeating the New Jersey Colonials, 4-1, at the Ice House in Hackensack, NJ.

The girls’ next action moved them to Colorado where they made it to the semifinals of the USA National Championships (14 and under teams).

Olivia Mucha and Mary Restuccia led the offense for the Lady Quakers. Mucha placed second in the tournament scoring with 13 points in five game on seven goals and six assists. Restuccia had five goals and three assists to finish in fifth place.

Kelsie Fralick was outstanding in goal for the team, compiling a 1.24 goals against average and a .944 save percentage, both tops in the tournament among goalies playing more than one game.

The Quakers play out of Ice Line in West Chester, Pa.
