The Philadelphia Flyers Ambassador of Hockey, Bob Kelly recently reached the 50,000-student mark in the three years he has been with the Flyers.
He jokingly was presented with the Student of Month award at the Star Hill Selmentary School in Dover, Delaware.
In the three years he has been touring the Delaware Valley area, Kelly, who scored the team's last Stanley Cup winning goal in 1975, has reached close to 200 schools as part of the Flyers and Phantoms School Assembly Program.
