Pee Wee AA Wins International Silver Stick Regional Finals.  Ice Dogs Pee Wee A ’94 team also advances to finals.

 

West Chester, PA- The Hatfield Ice Dogs Peewee AA hockey team was crowned the Philadelphia Regional Pee Wee AA Champion of the International Silver Stick Tournament on Sunday, October 2, 2005 at Ice Line.  The Ice Dogs participated in a 16 team field which included teams from PA, NJ, NY, DE, and MD.  The Ice Dogs were undefeated, finishing with a perfect 6-0 record, outscoring their opponents 31-7 to capture the title.

 

The Hatfield Ice Dogs Peewee A ‘94 team has also advanced to the International Silver Stick Finals finishing second in the Philadelphia Regional.  The team finished with a 4-1-1 record while allowing only 11 goals scored in the 6 games played.

 

Both teams will travel to Port Huron, Michigan to compete in the Finals to be held January 26th -30th 2006.  

The International Silver Stick Inc. is an association of minor ice hockey tournaments formed to promote citizenship and international goodwill through hockey.

Over 65,000 participants play in Regional Qualifying Tournaments which are played across North America, as far west as Portland, Oregon, south to Dallas, Texas, east to Stanford, Connecticut and north to Sudbury, Ontario.

Ice Dogs Youth Hockey is a non-profit organization, operating out of
Hatfield, Pennsylvania. The Ice Dogs are a member of the Delaware Valley Hockey League and sponsor travel ice hockey teams for 274 players from 7 to 18 years of age.
