John Brogan Passes



He Covered the Flyers for the Bulletin and
Served a 20-year Career in the Front Office


John Brogan covered and worked for the Philadelphia Flyers. He was the first hockey beat writer for the Philadelphia Bulletin to cover the Flyers back in 1967. He passed away on January 11, 2012. He battled Cancer for five years. John joined the Flyers after covering the team for first four seasons. He began a 20-year career with the team in the l973-74 season. John Brogan’s Flyers’ Career
